Built for how construction teams actually work

Nexus Build was created by people who've lived the chaos of managing dozens of subcontractors across projects — the spreadsheet sprawl, the email threads, the last-minute compliance scrambles. We built the tool we wished we had.

Our story

General contractors manage a web of relationships with subcontractors — from sourcing and prequalification to bidding, onboarding, compliance, and payment. Each of those steps used to live in a different tool, or worse, in someone's email inbox.

Nexus Build brings the entire subcontractor lifecycle into one workspace. We replace the patchwork of spreadsheets, file shares, and phone calls with structured workflows that make vendor status visible, deadlines proactive, and decisions data-driven.

Our platform serves both sides of the relationship. General contractors get a unified command center for compliance, bids, and payments. Subcontractors get a clean portal to upload documents, respond to bid requests, and track payment status — no cost on their end.

We integrate with the tools teams already use — Procore, Autodesk, QuickBooks, Sage — so adoption doesn't mean starting over. Nexus Build fits into your workflow, not the other way around.

Our mission

Reduce the coordination cost of building. Every hour a project manager spends chasing documents, comparing bids manually, or reconciling payments is an hour not spent on the work that matters. We give that time back.

What guides us

Clear

Information is structured so stakeholders can act without guesswork. Status-driven dashboards with explicit next steps replace ambiguity.

Dependable

The system behaves predictably across long projects. Persistent audit trails and escalating alerts keep everyone on the same page.

Practical

Every feature earns its place by saving time in real construction workflows. Fast paths for common tasks reduce typing and context-switching.

Respectful

We treat all parties as partners. Neutral statuses, shared visibility, and collaborative language reduce friction and blame across the project.
